...a promise of more to come if you elect him

Dear Friends,

The last few weeks have been hard work, but enjoyable and very informative. I have been able to meet many of you but there are many more I have missed. It is important to meet you, but more important to meet your needs. If you elect me as your councillor I will continue to work hard and will strive to meet your needs, not just during the election but all the time. I will send out regular newsletters to keep in touch with you and to provide you with a chance to raise issues with me.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to stand in this election. I see it as my opportunity to continue and extend the work I already do in the community. I believe that as your councillor I will be able to make a significant contribution to the communities of Northop and Sychdyn in many ways by working with new and existing organisations to make sure we maintain and improve the community spirit.

Having been a community councillor and working with many organisations for over twenty years I have been aware of the issues in the villages. Elections are a great opportunity to speak to people and you have raised several issues with me. There are some personal matters that individuals have asked me to look into but there are some wider issues. I was aware of many of them but it is useful to be reminded how important they are to you.
